  • Review team members' work and case files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established procedures.

Employment Screening & Compliance

  • Initiate, monitor, and review criminal background checks, drug testing, MVRs, and employment verifications; evaluate results, resolve discrepancies, and guide staff using established criteria.
  • Coordinate FCRA adverse action notices, follow up on disputes, and maintain required documentation.
  • Coordinate screening requirements for strategic alliance partners and resolve related questions from field teams and vendors.
  • Maintain DOT driver qualification files, monitor ongoing requirements, and coordinate driver eligibility concerns and corrective actions with Safety, HR, and field leadership.
  • Support compliance audits, address process gaps, and safeguard confidential applicant and employee information.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Provide guidance on employment screening procedures to HR, Talent Acquisition, and field leadership.
  • Escalate policy exceptions and significant compliance concerns to the Vice President of Human Resources or Legal and implement approved guidance.
  • Coordinate screening vendor services, resolve delays and discrepancies, administer approved platform access, and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Coordinate system changes and escalate recurring vendor or service concerns.
  • Track and report screening volume, turnaround times, backlogs, accuracy, and compliance exceptions.
  • Recommend workflow improvements and implement approved process changes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in HR Operations, Employment Screening, Workforce Compliance, or a related field.
