McCarthy Home Services, in partnership with American Residential Services (ARS), the nation’s largest provider of residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services, is hiring an Assistant Sales Manager / Retail Lead Generation Manager to support sales leadership while driving performance across our Retail Alliance Lead Generation program.

 

This is a dual-impact leadership role responsible for assisting the HVAC Sales Manager with team performance, while also managing and developing our retail lead generation team to maximize lead flow, productivity, and conversion.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Support the HVAC Sales Manager in driving monthly sales performance and team development
  • Motivate, coach, and guide Comfort Advisors to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Recruit, train, and manage Retail Sales Associates (SSAs) to meet daily and weekly lead generation targets
  • Oversee retail lead generation operations across partner locations
  • Spend significant time in the field coaching SSAs and working with retail store leadership
  • Track KPIs, monitor performance, and report results to leadership and retail partners
  • Lead weekly sales meetings, trainings, and performance reviews
  • Build strong relationships with retail partners and ensure alignment on goals and expectations
  • Coordinate and execute in-store events to drive lead generation and engagement
  • Assist with weekend sales operations (Saturday/Sunday)
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and conversion rates

Qualifications

What You Need

  • 2+ years of in-home sales leadership experience
  • Experience managing retail, lead generation, or field marketing teams preferred
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills
  • Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across sales and retail operations
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends as needed
  • Strong computer proficiency (MS Office; CRM experience a plus)
  • Goal-driven mindset with a focus on results and team development
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
