Overview

The Director of Analytics, Marketing & FP&A owns ARS’s marketing performance intelligence, turning data into insights, actions, and forecasts that drive revenue, profitability, and operational performance across Marketing, Inside Sales, Field Operations, and Finance.

This role leads the evolution of analytics in line with the Marketing Analytics Roadmap—advancing from reporting to predictive, decision-driving capabilities that improve funnel efficiency and maximize marketing ROI. The Director partners closely with Marketing, BI, Operations, Finance, and IT to deliver full-funnel insights and support C-suite decision-making.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a builder who thrives in fast-paced environments, identifies opportunities others miss, and translates data into clear, actionable outcomes with urgency and accountability.

Responsibilities

The Director is accountable for delivering four enterprise-critical outcomes:

  1. Full-Funnel Performance Clarity
Build and own the Marketing Scorecard structure, reporting cadence, and insights — shifting the organization from “lead counting” to diagnostic funnel analytics tied to revenue, profit, and operational conversion.
  2. Predictive, Forecasting, and Modeling Capabilities
Expand analytics maturity from reactive reporting to forecasting, predictive modeling, attribution evolution, and budget optimization.
  3. Enterprise Decision Support
Serve as the strategic analytics partner to the CMO, VP BI, CFO/FP&A, and field leadership — identifying opportunities, diagnosing issues, and proposing clear actions that improve marketing efficiency, call center performance, field conversions, and total profit dollars. This leader ensures the organization operates from a shared understanding of performance, driving alignment and consistent execution across Marketing, Sales, Field, and Finance.
  4. Technology & AI Alignment
Leverage enterprise technology and AI to support the business and gain new insights.

This role requires significant influence without direct authority. The Director will:

  • Partner with FP&A to align financial forecasts, marketing budgets, and ROI expectations.
  • Partner with the CTO and Technology organization to advance data systems, AI tooling, telephony integration, tagging accuracy, and analytics automation across the enterprise.
  • Support Ops and Inside Sales by diagnosing call, booking, and close-rate drivers across markets.
  • Collaborate with Marketing channel owners to optimize investment decisions, attribution methods, media mix strategies, and campaign performance — ensuring data-driven decisions across all channels.
  • Collaborate with BI, IT, Telephony, and PMO to improve data infrastructure, tagging quality, dashboards, automation, and technology-enabled performance capabilities.
  • Present insights to the CMO, President of Field Operations, CFO, and CEO with clarity and action orientation.

The Director succeeds by:

  • Delivering a unified, enterprise-level Marketing Scorecard with trended funnel diagnostics, opportunity identification, and actionable insights.
  • Improving efficiency and return on ARS’s marketing investment through media optimization, attribution evolution, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Providing the CMO, President of Field Operations, CFO, CTO, and VP BI with clear, timely, decision-ready analysis that drives volume, revenue, profit, and conversion improvements across the funnel.
  • Leading high-priority analytical initiatives that elevate enterprise capability — predictive modeling, cohort analysis, scenario planning, budget optimization, testing frameworks, and customer insights.
  • Demonstrating strategic leadership, decisive problem-solving, and the ability to see around corners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Economics, Analytics, Marketing, or similar); Master’s preferred.
  • 7–10+ years in marketing analytics, performance insights, forecasting, or strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to support C-suite stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Hands-on experience with predictive modeling, digital analytics, media measurement, and funnel optimization.
  • Experience leading analytics in a multi-location, consumer-facing, or home services environment is a plus.
