Responsibilities

As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you will diagnose, service, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems across Maryland.

  • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems with speed, accuracy, and professionalism
  • Service and repair:
    • Split systems
    • Heat pumps
    • Gas furnaces
    • Boilers (gas/oil where applicable)
    • Air handlers
    • Thermostats and zoning systems
    • Indoor air quality systems (humidifiers, UV lights, filtration, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, refrigerant, ignition, venting, and control issues
  • Verify system performance (temps, pressures, static pressure as needed)
  • Clearly communicate findings, solutions, and pricing to homeowners
  • Document all work completed (notes, photos, invoices)
  • Work safely in attics, crawlspaces, and tight areas as required
  • Maintain a clean, professional truck, tools, and appearance
  • Follow all safety standards, EPA guidelines, and Maryland licensing requirements

Qualifications

What You Need

  • 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience
  • EPA Certification required
  • Maryland Journeyman HVAC License (preferred, not required)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and lift heavy equipment
