Pay: $80k - $125k per year earning potential, hourly plus commission pay
Schedule: Monday - Friday with weekend coverage rotation
Full-time, year-round work

Responsibilities

Boiler Installation:

  • Install and replace forced hot water boilers

  • Install and service steam boilers

  • Install combination heat and domestic hot water systems

  • Perform system start-ups, safety checks, and basic troubleshooting

Water Heater Installation:

  • Install and replace all types of water heaters, including:

    •  

      atmospheric          
    • Electric
    • Power vent

    • Indirect-fired

    • Tankless/on-demand systems

  • Ensure proper operation, venting, and code compliance of all installations

Gas and Flue Piping:

  • Install and modify gas piping systems according to job specifications and state code

  • Install and inspect flue venting systems (natural draft, power vented, direct vent, etc.)

  • Ensure all gas and flue systems comply with MA Plumbing Code, NFPA 54 (National Fuel Gas Code), and NFPA 58 (Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code)

Qualifications

What You Need:            

  • Valid Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Plumber License required
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in boiler and water heater installation
  • Familiarity with residential and light commercial plumbing/heating systems
  • Strong understanding of state and national plumbing/gas codes
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
  • EPA Certification (for refrigerant handling) is a plus, but not required
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
