As an Office Manager you will manage and coordinate general office services, office-related business operations and other designated operational areas in support of service center operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and develops staff, which includes hiring, terminating and disciplining employees, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling and training employees, evaluating performance and supervising work assignments to ensure effective office operations.
  • Oversees the plumbing install and underground teams and pull all permits.
  • Oversees the dispatchers and CSR’s.
  • Manages general services to include office supply purchases, mail operations, office equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Forecasts office expenses and manages office administration budget. Submits expenditures for proper approvals and initiates cost reduction programs, as applicable.
  • Prepares monthly statistical reports and performs administrative functions for service center management to include correspondence and submission of corporate reporting.
  • Coordinates inside sales call functions and enters distribution orders into the computer system.
  • Coordinates license renewals, insurance certificates, petty cash and cellular telephone programs.
  • Reviews physical inventory quantities, obtains quotes from competitive vendors and orders inventory items. Places orders for special order materials.
  • Promotes a safe work environment by coordinating safety training, reporting and records maintenance. Maintains all claim records and files for various business insurances.
  • Reviews payroll data to ensure accuracy of information reported, conducts research to resolve payroll discrepancies, calculates sales commissions, submits payroll information and all employee information to the corporate office for processing, and coordinates payroll check disbursement.
  • Perform Lead Coordinator role as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in business or accounting from a two-year college or technical school and 3-5 years of general accounting experience are required. Related experience and/or training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Availability to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office products. 
  • Highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and clearly communicate priorities and rationale.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly MS Office; CRM system experience is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and committed to professional growth and success.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
