Are you ready to take the reins of a high-impact leadership role within one of the nation’s most recognized big-box home improvement retailers? As the Regional Sales Manager – Strategic Alliances, you’ll own and optimize performance across a defined portfolio of retail territories, overseeing a team of dynamic Big Box Retail Program Managers.

 

In this role, you’ll:

  • Build and Strengthen Partnerships: Serve as the key liaison between our brand and our Big-Box Retail Partners, delivering exceptional results.
  • Drive Results: Transform corporate and customer goals into measurable success in the field.
  • Lead with Excellence: Empower and mentor your team to enhance brand visibility, generate quality sales leads, and exceed sales targets.

Reporting directly to the Division Vice President, you’ll be at the forefront of strategy and execution, ensuring our partnerships remain “best in class” while driving measurable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Accountability for Performance: Oversee the success of big box retailers and lead generators across assigned territories, ensuring high performance and consistent growth.
  • Program Review & Reporting: Lead regular conference calls (weekly/monthly) with branches to evaluate program performance, including sales pacing, operational metrics, and key events or promotions.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, coach, mentor, and train Retail Program Managers, helping them develop and reach their full potential.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement and track operational changes to drive continuous improvement within the program.
  • Primary Point of Contact: Act as the main liaison for the retail partner’s field service team at the division level, maintaining strong relationships.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain key relationships with store operations and merchant personnel through regular in-person, phone, and electronic communications.
  • Goal Setting & Evaluation: Set clear objectives for branches, measure performance, and assess results to ensure goals are met.
  • Executive Support: Collaborate with the DVP and Strategic Alliances leadership team to prepare Executive and Board of Directors presentations.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure program compliance by communicating and implementing policies and procedures that meet company and legal standards.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Handle other duties as needed to support program and business goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, training, and coaching, with a proven ability to drive performance.
  • Multi-location management experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive for success.
  • Strong financial & business acumen to understand and navigate complex sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, from support staff to executives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, presentations, and analysis.
  • Creative problem-solver, with a track record of data-driven decision-making.
  • Valid driver’s license required, with 50-70% travel expected in Florida and Georgia.
