Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between management and employees, addressing inquiries, interpreting contracts, and facilitating conflict resolution
  • Provide comprehensive information to current and prospective employees regarding policies, job roles, benefits, and advancement opportunities
  • Ensure accurate documentation of personnel changes and maintain updated employee files
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks, ensuring compliance with EEO, ERISA, and Wage & Hour regulations
  • Oversee employee complaint processes to uphold fairness and consistency
  • Manage all aspects of the staffing process, including pre-employment testing, interviews, and reference checks
  • Coordinate new employee orientation programs
  • Handle payroll processing and address benefit-related issues
  • Communicate and implement policies and procedures aligning with company objectives
  • Collaborate with Division HR on succession planning and talent acquisition strategies
  • Conduct employee training sessions on benefits enrollment, harassment prevention, customer service, and related topics
  • Analyze turnover and compensation data for corporate reporting
  • Uphold employee confidentiality and respond to information requests
  • Adhere to safety and company regulations while performing duties

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or 3-5 years of HR generalist experience; professional HR certification preferred
  • Prior experience in payroll administration is essential
  • Familiarity with Ulti-Pro software is advantageous
  • Proficient knowledge of labor laws and regulations
  • Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective relationship-building
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities
