Overview

The Jr. Web Developer will be involved with working on various aspects of the web development lifecycle and will assist in the front-end development, API/database integrations, and optimization of web pages to ensure that technical aspects align with SEO strategies that contribute to enhancing the overall user experience.

 

Responsibilities

• Successfully implement web site changes defined by content managers and SEO specialists
• Successfully migrate Legacy websites sites to our Umbraco CMS.
• Develop process and code improvements to increase productivity for our content managers and SEO specialists.
• Obtain Umbraco training and become a certified Umbraco Professional or higher

Technical Expertise

• HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Knowledge of server-side languages .NET 7/8
• Usage of Visual Studio/Code
• Git version control
• Database systems such as SQL/MySQL
• Rest API integration

• Clearly articulates strategies, recommendations, and results to team members and management
• Collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of website migrations and changes.
• Leverage Project management system Asana to set and share deadlines and work priority to team members.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement website improvements
• Maintain a consistent availability and expertise in web development
• Support out ARS and Legacy sites by performing maintenance, original development, and migrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in full stack web development.
• Strong coding skills with the ability to troubleshoot other people’s code
• Proficiency in coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development
• Knowledge of server-side languages .NET 7/8
• Development experience with .NET MVC based CMS systems
• Experience with Umbraco CMS backend development preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with AI-driven content creation tools and techniques

This is a fully remote position. Excludes candidates from CA, WA, and CO.
