The Commercial HVAC Sales Representative develops customers and opportunities through the sale of service agreements and fixed price replacement projects.

Seeks out new customers, obtains appointments, harvests interest in our company, and closes sales at approved pricing standards.

Understands the services CWA offers and turns over opportunities to designated individuals when suitable.


Schedule: M-F, 8-5

Base salary + Commission

$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Role Description

  • The HVAC Sales Representative is to grow the existing Service Business.
  • Responsible to secure and manage multiple HVAC projects through existing service and maintenance customers.
  • Develop quotes and proposals to close sales of replacement related retrofit projects
  • HVAC Sales representative responsible for timely installation
  • Ensure total customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively market commercial maintenance agreements
  • Sell commercial maintenance agreements
  • Develop relationships with existing customers to sell additional products and services
  • Delivers effective “first call” presentations to establish the true viability of prospects
  • Develops action plans for high probability prospects with the goal of closing a sale.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of costs associated with owning, operating, and maintaining a building, and utilizes this knowledge to review these costs with prospects in various markets
  • Using company-provided tools, surveys buildings to identify all mechanical equipment, and establishes an understanding of how its mechanical and control systems work.
  • Attend all sales meetings
  • Attend all service technician meetings
  • Be active in local chamber and civic organizations
  • Attend after hours events to promote CWA
  • In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, walk, hear, and possess an appropriate degree of both visual acuity and manual dexterity. May frequently be required to climb, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach, and/or perform repetitive motion. 



  • High School diploma.
  • HVAC experience
  • 2+ years of applicable selling experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
  • Aptitude for successfully negotiating with diverse audiences.
  • Capacity to leverage communication/interpersonal skills to develop and enhance business relationships.
